There's been some personal turmoil around here, so I was going to take the month off from blogging, but decided to make everyone else feel the same way I do by choosing a really lame year for March. Welcome to 1975, a year with almost nothing going for it. Kicking things off with the letter A and the first song performed on SNL, Janis Ian's "At Seventeen"
I actually like this song. It has that alluring bossa nova beat!

For those of us who love the pretentious European stuff, 1975 was a great year: Another Green World, Ommadawn, Siren, Minstrel in the Gallery, Original Soundtrack, Night at the Opera, Commoners Crown, In Praise Of Learning, Timewind, Rubycon... I'm a little giddy just thinking about it.
