My eclectic store was 96/100, which got me invited to take the "supereclectic" test, which puts it on a 1000 point scale and apparently makes it much more difficult to get a high (i.e., eclectic) score. On that level, I got a much more pedestrian 676.
77.
I'm hoping that was the shortest comment ever here.
The period was unnecessary, though. Maybe one of my other last.fm friends can weigh in with a two-digit number sans period?
I'm thinking another way of measuring eclecticism is the slope determined by graphing one's most-played artists - probably would work best the deeper you go. Someone who's not all that eclectic would tend to have a steeper slope: they listen to their favorites a lot, and not a lot else. Someone who's very eclectic would have a more level line, indicating that they listen to a lot of different things.
I'm for that measure.. My listening lines are as level as anyone's.
