    I got my first WKRP disc this weekend from 'flix. (Although it's actually the second disc of the series--the first one has a "very long wait"). I am enjoying it, but I may have overestimated how funny it actually was...

    I'm following up my own comment by saying: it took a while to get going, but I think by mid-season the show is very funny. I'm quite relieved.

    The first season of WKRP takes about 4-5 episodes before it starts getting good. I think this November '78 "turkey" episode was the turning point. The show was initially cancelled before it came back.
